CREW TRAINING
Training Objectives
1. The primary objective of the training is to equip ship’s crew with the tools to detect, delay and respond to pirate attacks
2. The secondary objective is to equip ships crew to cope with being kidnapped.

Training Methodology
Two day course, split into 1 day theory and 1 day practical.
Day 1: The training is designed to extract maximum class participation on the first day.  Power Points and group challenge sessions are the cornerstone of the first day’s instruction. The crews will learn the basics of vessel piracy protection.
Day 2: Practical exercises on vessels form the basis of the second day. Learning the vulnerable points on the vessel, the lockdown procedures and a practical scenario tests the crews knowledge of the ship, its vulnerable points and the lockdown procedure.

NOTE: The course can be compressed into one day reducing the challenge lessons and spending less time on the practical ship exercises, however for maximum benefit 2 days should be allocated.

Maritime Threat Resolution has a dedicated Anti-Piracy Crew Training Manager who will provide onboard training for crews specific to the vessel.
